Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a product from this shop, you agree to all of the following Terms and Conditions. Star Cat Wares reserves the right to cancel and refund any orders from those who disregard the Terms and Conditions.

 


SHIPPING AND DELIVERY:

Buyers located in VAT-collecting countries (e.g., the UK) will have to pay the import VAT at the time of import, which is also known as DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). In this scenario, the import VAT may be first paid by the shipping carrier or customs agent on behalf of the shopper, in addition to any customs brokerage fees. They will then bill the shopper and release the goods once paid. If the shopper refuses to pay the bill, then the goods may be returned to the merchant.

Any customs or taxes that may apply to each order after shipping are to be handled and paid by the buyer.

Star Cat Wares is not responsible for any additional delays or fees once the product has been sent to the Post Office. Most shipping options automatically include a tracking number.

PREORDERS:

Preorder sales are to guarantee stock for all interested buyers. Manufacturing or printing will start after the provided Preorder time period, and will ship once products are received. Production time varies with the item type, but shipping estimates are as follows (from the end of Preorders)
Prints and Stickers: 1 month
Charms: 2-3 months

Please keep in mind that this timeline may be subject to delays due to shortages, pandemic-related issues, and other current events. All shipping updates will be announced on our project's Instagram or one of the team's Twitter accounts.

 

PACKAGING:

All products will be shipped inside protective bubble mailers or rigid poster mailers with additional packaging when applicable to minimize damaged edges or scuffing. Damage may occur in transit and may not qualify for refunds.


REFUNDS & RETURNS:

Star Cat Wares will only issue refunds or replacements in the following scenarios:

 The buyer wishes to cancel within 24 hours of placing their order. Once the Shipping/Order Fulfillment Phase begins, requests to refund an order will no longer be accepted, and buyers contacting us after that point may cancel their order but will not be refunded.

 An error is made by Star Cat Wares (e.g. incorrect address or order fulfillment).

Damage to items upon arrival (within 72 hours of delivery) has rendered it unsuable.

 

Refunds are not available in the following scenarios:

 The buyer changes their mind after order is shipped.

 The product is sent to an incorrect or old address due to error on behalf of the buyer.

 The order is shipped but USPS tracking details do not update.

 The order is shipped but was lost, damaged, or stolen.

 

In the case of an order that is returned to Star Cat Wares (due to an address error, failure to deliver, logistics on behalf of the shipping company, etc.), the buyer may choose to have the product shipped to them again if a new shipping fee is paid.

If the buyer wishes to cancel the purchase at this stage, we will only refund the value of the product.

 

Any and all refunds will be made to the payment account that was used to purchase a product.
